Meet the Team

Known to many little ones as “Miss Krys”, Krysten Henne is the founder of Growing Spaces Design, a family-centered organizing and design service built on the idea that our spaces should grow as we do.

With nearly two decades of experience working in family homes, Krys brings a unique blend of practical organizing, home management, and early childhood expertise. She holds her Early Childhood Education certificate with a specialty in Infant/Toddler care, is a member of the International Association of Professional Organizers (IAPO), and is currently completing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Capilano University (Class of 2027). Since 2006, she has supported families as a private childcare provider and house manager, and in 2023, she opened her own licensed in-home childcare program.

Krysten is passionate about designing growth-minded spaces, environments that evolve alongside children and support interdependence, confidence, and creativity. Her approach focuses on simple, thoughtful systems that work for both children and the grown-ups , making daily life feel calmer and more connected. Her work sits at the intersection of early childhood education, intentional design, and highly functional living, offering families a thoughtful reimagining of how their homes can truly support the routines, values, and goals of daily life.
